On April 15-17, 2015, Hozint was invited to participate to the 2nd African Mine Security Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa. The summit, organized by Fleming Gulf, saw the participation of security managers from Anglo American, ArcelorMittal, DeBeers, Glencore, Rio Tinto and Vale among others.

Hozint’s CEO, Edoardo Camilli, delivered a keynote speech on “Big Data and the next generation of security intelligence”. In his presentation, Camilli highlighted the added value of gathering a large amount of open source information in a systematic way. He then presented the political and security risk monitoring platform Horizon as a possible solution for a systematic monitoring of information for corporate security managers.
