Contribute to the data and knowledge behind AI-assisted risk analysis, combining research, careful annotation and an understanding of world events.
Your work covers real-world developments such as protests, conflict dynamics, sanctions and maritime incidents.
Monitor AI outputs
Monitor and analyse safety and security information produced by Hozint AI software.
Build training datasets
Research, collect and structure geopolitical and security events into high-impact datasets for machine-learning models.
Label with purpose
Annotate categories, actors, geographies and severity. Prepare examples, edge cases and counter-examples to improve precision and recall.
Build a knowledge base
Compile geopolitical analyses and forecasts for a new agentic AI module.
Contribute to the team
Support other tasks assigned by your internship supervisor.

We’re looking for curious researchers who combine an interest in technology with geopolitical knowledge and the reliability to work remotely.
Academic background
A Master’s degree or enrolment in an equivalent programme, preferably in Political Science, International Relations or Economics.
Curiosity about technology
A strong interest in artificial intelligence and its application to geopolitical and security risk analysis.
Clear communication
Excellent English writing and communication skills. Additional languages are an advantage.
Regional understanding
Knowledge of international security, political and economic affairs, with familiarity in Africa, Asia/Pacific, the Americas, Europe/CIS or MENA.
Independent and organised
Reliable and well-organised, with an eye for detail and the ability to work remotely.
International teamwork
Flexibility and good interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute to a small, international team.
