Hozint is looking for online interns willing to learn more about the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on (geo)political and security risk analysis.

• – Term: 4 or 6 months. Flexible hours;
• – Workload:  4h/day; Week-days (Monday -Friday) or Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
• – Remuneration: unpaid;

Main tasks

• – Monitor and analyse safety and security information coming from Hozint’s AI crawling software;
• – Provide feedback to the AI in order to improve its learning process (supervised machine learning);
• – Correct the reports generated by the AI to adjust the relevancy, location, category or impact of an event;
• – Other tasks as assigned by the internship supervisor;

Qualifications and Experience

• – Master’s Degree or enrolled in an equivalent program (preferably in Political Science/International Relations/Economics);
• – Strong interest and curiosity in technology (e.g. Artificial Intelligence);
• – Excellent writing skills in English; additional languages considered as an advantage;
• – Knowledge of current international affairs, including security, political and economic issues;
• – Familiarity with at least one of these regions: Africa, Asia/Pacific, Americas, Europe/CIS, MENA;
• – Flexibility and ability to work in a small but international structure;
• – Excellent communication skills;
• – Reliability and ability to work remotely;
• – Dynamic and well-organised, with an eye for detail;
• – Good interpersonal skills;
