Tunisia imposing new restrictions to cope with COVID-19 spreading

From October 1 to 15, a night-time curfew has been imposed to combat the spread of COVID-19 in the city of Sousse. The curfew is enforced between 8 pm and 5 am. In addition, wearing of face masks has been made mandatory.

Similar measures have been imposed in Monastir Governorate. As a result, a night-time curfew has been enforced between 8 pm to 6 am, and all public entertainment places such as sports venues, wedding halls, etc. have been closed.

So far, a total of 19,721 COVID-19 cases and 271 deaths have been recorded in the country.
