We are excited to announce the launch of Hozint AI, the brand-new and reimagined platform that replaces our previous versions Horizon, Lookout, and Horizon+. Hozint has been redesigned from the ground up to enhance your experience as an intelligence analyst and provide you with even more powerful tools to stay ahead of risks and security threats.

The new “My Organisation” feature makes sharing focuses and geofeatures (map layers) with your teammates simpler than ever. Easily collaborate on specific projects, such as monitoring a designated area, and ensure smooth coordination across different desks or time zones, empowering your team to act quickly and efficiently.
With the introduction of three distinct user roles, your team can now collaborate more effectively, ensuring a more streamlined and cooperative monitoring of information:
• Team Leader: Take full control by assigning roles, creating, editing, and sharing focuses and folders, allowing you to organize tasks effectively.
• Analyst: Focus on creating and sharing critical intelligence and resources to help your team stay informed and aligned.
• Viewer: Access all shared content seamlessly, ensuring you always stay updated with the latest intelligence, even without editing capabilities.
Share your focuses and geofeatures with teammates to collectively track specific areas or projects. Whether it’s managing risks across multiple desks or time zones, this feature allows your team to stay synchronized and informed, ensuring a unified approach to intelligence gathering.
Smarter Filters for More Precise Alerts
Geofolders: Organise all your map layers into thematic folders with your offices, warehouses, airports, conflict zones etc. Use bulk actions to hide/display them on the map, and change colours and icons.
Improved Geofences: We have completely redesigned how to create geofences and it’s not all…Need to track specific routes or areas? Now you can create line geofences for itineraries or flights, and radial geofences around all your POIs at once! —all from one convenient tab.
Timeframe Filtering: Easily set up alerts for events happening in the next 7 days or next 30 days, keeping you updated on future developments without hassle.
Simplified Keyword Search: Simplify your search with improved keyword functionality and streamlined boolean operators, making data retrieval quicker and more efficient.
The new Hozint app is powered by the 2nd generation of Lookout (our proprietary AI software). Lookout 2.0 has been completely redesigned to provide faster and more accurate real-time alerts.
Improved geolocation: The new Lookout offers significantly enhanced geolocation accuracy with a 91% precision rate, thanks to the integration of a cutting-edge geocoding module powered by Language Models. This advanced technology delivers more accurate location data compared to traditional NER (Named Entity Recognition) methods, allowing intelligence analysts to pinpoint events with greater reliability and speed. By reducing location inaccuracies, you can now focus on the most relevant intelligence, improving both the efficiency and effectiveness of your risk assessments.
New Event date and Time detection [upcoming]: Lookout 2.0 will introduce a major upgrade by enabling the detection and extraction of dates and times directly from the article’s text, which are then automatically used to populate the Event Date and Local Time metadata widgets. This new feature ensures that the exact time an event occurred is captured, providing more accurate and actionable intelligence. Previously, the older version of Lookout could only detect the publication date of the article, limiting context around when the event actually took place. With this improvement, you now gain deeper insights into real-time events, enhancing your decision-making process and response strategies.
Map View – More Control and Customization
The map view has been improved with a more user-friendly toolbar and new functionalities.
Advanced Geofeatures now allow you to organize map layers into geo-folders, making it easier to manage and categorize geospatial data. Share these geo-folders with colleagues to enhance collaboration across teams, ensuring everyone is working with the same up-to-date information. You can also create detailed itineraries or track Points of Interest (POIs) in bulk, with new customization options for colours, icons, and labels, allowing for greater flexibility in your geospatial analysis.
Additionally, bulk actions streamline your workflow by enabling you to select, move, export, or delete multiple geofeatures at once, saving you valuable time and simplifying the management of large datasets. This feature empowers your team to handle complex geospatial projects with speed and efficiency.
