From June 3–4, Hozint participated in the 1st General Assembly of the Horizon Europe project AI4COPSEC, held in Brest, France. The project brings together cutting-edge innovation in artificial intelligence, space technologies, and heterogeneous data fusion to enhance maritime security across Europe.
Over two productive days, we joined our consortium partners to:
- – Review progress across all project work packages;
- – Align on key operational use cases, including search and rescue, oil spill detection, illegal fishing, and irregular migration;
- – Engage with strategic stakeholders such as CEPPOL – Centre Expert Antipollution, the French Navy (MICA Center), DGAMPA, TotalEnergies, and Cedre;
A particular highlight was our visit to the Abeille Bretagne rescue vessel, offering a firsthand look at operational maritime safety measures during complex SAR missions.
Hozint is proud to contribute its expertise in AI-powered situational awareness to the AI4COPSEC mission and support the development of innovative solutions for a safer maritime domain.
