On July 8, Former PM Shinzo Abe was confirmed dead after being shot at a campaign event in Nara City, Kansai. The incident occurred at around 11:30 am local time near Yamato-Saidaiji Station when Shinzo Abe was giving a speech on the street. 1 suspect, identified as Tetsuya Yamagami, 41, was arrested by the police.
